Hemp and Chia Boost Balls

These power balls are the perfect snack to boost focus, energy, satisfy sweet cravings and nourish your body.

Hemp seeds are a good source protein and omega-3 as well as containing magnesium, zinc and iron. Chia seeds are a rich source of omega-3 and fibre. Hemp protein powder is a protein superstar! It’s one of the most complete proteins in the plant food kingdom, containing ALL 21 known amino acids, including the 9 essential amino acids required for health.

Ingredients

50g hemp seeds
50g chia seeds
50g hemp protein powder
25g cacao powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup vanilla essence
3/4 cup warm water

Method

  • Blend all the ingredients together and allow to stand for approximately 15 mins.
  • Roll into bite-size balls and either refrigerate or freeze.
  • Makes around 12 balls.
