Spruce up your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing with simple daily habits that can make a profound difference to your life and fundraise for a cause – helping to fulfill Petrea’s 70th birthday dream of long-term support for people with trauma.

It’s Petrea’s 70th birthday this month – who can believe it? Petrea has dedicated more than half her life delivering hope and healing to hundreds of thousands of people and touching the lives of millions through her work with the Quest for Life Foundation.

With her birthday this year, Petrea is hoping to fulfill the whole of her dream – to raise $70,000 to provide ongoing support to the Quest for Life Foundation’s programs for people living with trauma.

Fundraising is optional and you’re very welcome just to enjoy the challenges, however every dollar raised will go towards helping people who are struggling with their mental health.

About the Challenge

If you’ve felt your mental health or overall wellness take a dip since the onset of the pandemic, you’re not alone. According to recent data, Australians are reporting significant increases in symptoms of depression and anxiety related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This challenge will help you:

  • Regain some control in your life
  • Put healthy, mindful habits in place
  • Feel motivated by the company and efforts of the Quest community
  • Improve your mental, physical and emotional health, which are equally important to help you feel your best.

The challenge comes with a printable calendar that makes it easy and fun to track your progress. You will receive weekly emails with information about the challenge and opportunities to join Petrea Live on Facebook.

It can be hard to find the motivation and time to take care of yourself, so it’s helpful and rewarding to take on challenges that feel achievable. Enlisting the support of your friends and family can help keep you motivated.

Funding Options for Residential Programs

Self-Funding

Quest subsidises all privately or self-funded places to ensure the cost of our programs remains affordable to individuals. This allows us to reduce the fee from $4,400 to $2,800.

$2,200 Shared room (Early bird* $2,100 – must be paid 30 days in advance)
$2,800 Single room (Early bird* $2,700 – must be paid 30 days in advance)

Fees effective 1 July 2023.

Subsidies and Financial Help

Through generous grants, donations and fundraising, additional subsidies and financial help is available for a range of circumstances and anyone experiencing financial stress will be considered. We review each case individually and we do not means test. All applications are conducted via phone with a friendly member of the Programs intake team.

NDIS

Quest is a registered NDIS Provider. Residential Programs can be funded through plan-managed and self-managed NDIS plans.

DVA

We work with Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) White Card or Gold Card holders to make applications to the DVA Health Approvals Board.

Worker’s Comp Insurance

Residential programs can be covered by workers compensation insurance on a case-by-case basis.
