Quest was delighted to welcome Ralph and Kathy Kelly to our Centre in Bundanoon this week. Pictured with Quest’s CEO and Founder Petrea King and General Manager Mary-Jane Wardrop.
Ralph and Kathy are well known to many through their charity – Stay Kind – and the Kind July awareness campaign.
After losing both their sons, Thomas and Stuart, in unimaginable circumstances, they have worked tirelessly to make Australia a kinder society, and inspire and campaign for reform over the past 10 years.
With the transformation of their charity to a company in 2022, Quest is honoured to be chosen as a recipient of a donation from Stay Kind as a like-minded charity.
Both organisations – Stay Kind and Quest – share a common goal of working to support vulnerable people and groups in Australia, helping those experiencing suicidal ideation, abuse or antisocial behaviour on a path to recovery.
“As a specialised trauma care provider, we’re very grateful that we can accommodate more people onto our residential programs through the donation from Stay Kind, supporting their work”, Petrea says.
This donation will help subsidise participants onto a 5-day residential program at Quest, ensuring the incredible work of the Kellys will continue to touch the lives of those in need of support, kindness and healing.
If your life is affected by physical and/or emotional abuse, substance abuse, antisocial behaviour or suicidal ideation, please speak to our Program Advisors about attending Healing Your Life or Moving Beyond Trauma at Quest for Life at a subsidised rate.
