Anxiety is more than just feeling stressed or worried. While stress and anxious feelings are a common reaction to a situation when we feel under pressure, they usually pass once the stressful situation has passed or the ‘stressor’ is removed. If anxiety is affecting your life, this course can help.
Befriending Anxiety is a self-paced online course delivered over four modules to assist you to better manage anxiety and live free from its debilitating effects. We share practical, evidence-based tools and strategies to reduce the symptoms and live with greater peace and calm.
Each module offers contemporary and easy to understand approaches plus straightforward models to explain brain function and how it relates to anxiety. There are simple practices that can make a profound difference to your experience of anxiety. Reflective questions are incorporated into each module to support your learning.
Facilitators Petrea King and Margie Braunstein, through their personal and professional experience, engage, educate, encourage and support you to develop a Personal Plan to manage anxiety.
Undertake the course in your own time, at your own speed. Each module is between 14-20 minutes long, accompanied by reflective questions.
