Forgiveness is an inner process whereby we liberate ourselves from the consequences of having felt wounded in the past. We no longer react in the present as we have processed our feelings and the event is now in our past. Research demonstrates that while some people are predisposed to forgiving due to genetics or experience, even habitual grudge-holders can learn to be more forgiving.
Gift of Forgiveness is a self-paced online course designed for people who want to find peace in the face of feeling hurt, unbearable loss, trauma, guilt, or suffering at the hands of others, ourselves, or life. We can achieve this by knowing and understanding how to find peace and liberation from the grip of past wounds. Each module delivers contemporary and easy-to-understand approaches, and four reflective questions to support your learning.
Facilitators Petrea King and Margie Braunstein, through their personal and professional experience, engage, educate, encourage and support you to develop a Personal Plan to embrace forgiveness.
Undertake the course in your own time, at your own speed. Each module is between 14-20 minutes long, accompanied by reflective questions.
