Healing Sleep

A course for anyone experiencing issues with achieving good quality sleep. The course provides a foundation for developing a Personal Plan to support deep, healthy and restful sleep

About the Course

No matter how hectic our lives may be, we cannot afford to ignore what research is telling us about the importance of sleep for our safety and mental and physical wellbeing. For adults, getting less than seven hours of sleep a night on a regular basis has been linked with poor health including weight gain, having a body mass index of 30 or more, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke and depression.

Whether you’re having temporary difficulties with sleep, or the challenges are long-standing, Healing Sleep provides everything needed to make steady improvements to your sleep.

Each module delivers contemporary and easy to understand approaches to sleep. There are simple models to explain brain function and how it relates to sleep. Each module offers reflective questions to support your learning.

Facilitators Petrea King and Margie Braunstein, through their personal and professional experience, engage, educate, encourage and support you to develop a Personal Plan to make a profound difference to the quality and quantity of your sleep.

Undertake the course in your own time, at your own speed. Each module is between 14-20 minutes long, accompanied by reflective questions.
