Healing Trauma is a self-paced online course delivered over four modules aimed at assisting people living with the effects of trauma and who want to recover from the debilitating symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress. There are easy-to-implement practices and evidence-based information that can make a significant difference in improving your quality of life as well as restoring a sense of peace and calm.
Each module delivers contemporary and easy-to-understand approaches, plus straightforward models to explain and manage the emotional rollercoaster that often develops after experiencing one or more traumas.
Each module offers four reflective questions to support your learning. There is a Personal Journal and further reading and links at the end of the course workbook.
There are simple practices that can make a profound difference to the experience of trauma, plus a Coming to Your Senses mindfulness practice within every module.
Facilitators Petrea King and Margie Braunstein, through their personal and professional experience, engage, educate, encourage and support you to develop a Personal Plan to manage and heal trauma.
Undertake the course in your own time, at your own speed. Each module is between 14-20 minutes long, accompanied by reflective questions.
