    Chantäl Patruno

    Back to Our Team

Chantäl is crazy about chocolate and serious about empowering others.  She is committed to working with people experiencing challenges in life and those working through transitions and seeking change.

Having experienced her own range of life’s ‘D’s’, it’s no surprise Chantäl is passionate about enabling behaviour change and has dedicated her professional career to being of service in the ‘helping professions’.  She has led change and transformation in the corporate world for over 25 years, which includes working as a Coach for Executive Leaders, a Group Facilitator for leadership teams and as a Counsellor for all types of people – all with a common thread – navigating change in complex times.

She holds a post graduate degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and the University of Canberra, organisational change leadership degrees from AGSM, Transpersonal Coaching degree from Nature Care College and an undergraduate degree in Education.

Chantäl is skilled at meeting people exactly where they are at and then walking beside them with unconditional positive regard. She offers a safe and nurturing space where you feel supported and empowered, with a strength-based, person-centred partnership that’s tailored to your specific needs.

She helps people as they navigate the ups and downs of life and supports them to navigate change while healing their mind, body and spirit. Chantäl approaches her sessions with compassion, non-judgement and refreshing authenticity and specialises in working with individuals experiencing acute stress, grief and loss, anxious feelings and thoughts, persistent low moods, illness and unresolved trauma. She is grounded in person–centred psychotherapy, which recognises that every person is unique and complex, and weaves in a tapestry of therapies including trauma-informed, narrative, cognitive-behavioural, mindfulness-based, acceptance and commitment and family systems. She empowers you to re-connect with your self-reliance, to redesign the life you want, and then consciously and resourcefully take steps to implement meaningful change in your own life.

Living with trauma of her own and navigating chronic disease, she knows how important self-care is and keeps her mind and body well to be of best service to others.  She lives in Burradoo in the Southern Highlands with her family (and doggies) and loves bushwalking and trekking up mountains, horse riding, gardening, stand up paddle boarding and practices Tai Chi, yoga and meditation to stay grounded and centred.

Chantal is constantly exploring and learning, and ever-growing on her own healing journey.
